日野製薬さんのキハダの植樹へ、今年は社員も一緒に参加してきました。
前日の大雨が嘘のような気持ちのいい晴れ間の中、
キハダをはじめとして、エンジュ、サクラ、モミジなど、
今年も混交林を育てるべく、約の1,000本の植樹をしました。
山を育むことは、水を育むことであり、
私たち酒造りもまさにその恩恵を受けています。
そして山を育むことは地域を未来へつなぐ、
とてつもなく重要なことなんだと深く感じています。
植樹作業が終わった後、
昨年植樹した場所を訪れました。
早い木では息子氏たちの背丈を大きく超えるサイズまで、
元気に育っていました。
25年程度で成木となる比較的成長の早いキハダですが、
息子氏たちにとっては、1年で大きな森になっていると想像していたようで、
ちょっとガッカリした様子だったのが想定外でした。
しかし彼らにとっても、
山を育むには長い年月がかかるんだと体感できたことは、
大きな学びとなったことは間違いありません。
I joined the planting tree event together with our brewing staff and my family, that organized by Hino-seiyaku.
As the companies long established in Kiso village, we share the responsiblity for the future of local area. We have been continue energetic business for the future.
It’s necessary we have to protect the good mountain in order to thrive local economy. The planting tree is one of the way to do that, thereby we will conserve water source and the environment of nature.
All of our action and efforts will be involved our business and the future.
